Executive Sous Chef Job Description

As an Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. This role is ideal for an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality dining experiences for corporate clients.

  • Support the Head Chef in planning and executing menu items featuring local, seasonal, and plant-forward ingredients.
  • Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Mentor and motivate kitchen staff to ensure seamless delivery of fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events throughout the week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 10+ years' experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within corporate or fine dining settings.
  • Strong skills in supporting daily operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and innovation.
  • Ability to assist with menu planning and preparation.
  • Experience mentoring and motivating kitchen staff.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and stock management.
  • Professional communication skills and client-focused attitude.
  • Comfortable working with digital systems for ordering and rostering.
