Job Description

As the Travel Sales Director, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, developing effective sales strategies, and managing a high-performing sales team. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing customer experience, optimizing revenue, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including travel agents, suppliers, and partners.
  • Analyse market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to ensure continued success.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in travel retail.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the retail travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of travel products, sales strategies, and market trends.
  • A strong working knowledge of travel operating systems, including GDS and mid-office systems, and expertise in fares and ticketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
