We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of geotechnical projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, geoscience, or civil engineering, with experience working on mining, rail, or infrastructure projects. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake field and office-based assignments to ensure tasks are completed to quality and safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of geotechnical designs, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Interpret field and laboratory data to support the development of geotechnical models and design recommendations.
- Coordinate the accurate entry, validation, and ongoing management of geotechnical data within project databases.
- Relevant degree in geology, geoscience, civil engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years' experience working in a geotechnical role, preferably on mining, rail, or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to geotechnical data management packages, such as OpenGround, gINT, and GIS applications.
- Willingness to participate in regular field work.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team-driven environment.
