Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to join our team at Buildability Group, a respected leader in the construction industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to innovative and high-quality projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive estimates and tenders for concrete projects. They will work closely with project managers and engineers to define project scopes and budgets, manage a database of costs, materials, and labour rates, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure reliable pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate cost, time, and labour forecasts based on project plans, specifications, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Identify and propose value engineering opportunities to enhance project efficiency.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in estimating and tendering within the concrete industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 + Super + Benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
