Senior Concrete Equipment Specialist

Division: De Martin & Gasparini PL is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Equipment Specialist to join their Operations team based at Chullora.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and controlling the WHS, certification, registration, and other compliance requirements of all equipment, including concrete tower booms, mobile and static concrete pumps, and other concrete placing equipment.
The day-to-day activities of this role include liaising with authorities to determine compliance with requirements for concrete pumping operations, interfacing with clients and internal staff to establish safe and efficient concrete pumping set up, concrete line build, tower boom installation, and jumping sequences.
Additionally, the Senior Concrete Equipment Specialist will deliver engineering solutions to meet business requirements within budget and schedule, evaluate tenders, and assist with professional presentations of concrete pumping operations.
This role also involves reviewing and maintaining mechanical standards across the business, ensuring the provision of support to project sites in the use of mechanical equipment, and ensuring risk management is maintained to the highest standard.
Requirements- Relevant Mechanical Engineering experience within the concrete, construction, or heavy plant & equipment industry.
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in Mechanical Engineering & trade background in plant & equipment.
- Hydraulic & electromechanical mindset.
- Proven hands-on experience utilizing CAD and BIM software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems.
