Experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our dynamic women's health department.

About the Opportunity:

Our service has provided quality healthcare to residents for over 100 years, offering a range of services including antenatal care, birthing services, postnatal care, gynecological care, and women's health education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based clinical services to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Lead and educate junior medical staff and other relevant staff to foster safe and effective clinical practice
  • Utilise information systems to inform decision-making and care planning
  • Communicate effectively with staff and clinicians to ensure quality and continuity of care
  • Contribute to risk management and quality programs to improve organisational processes and own practices

Requirements:

  • Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG or equivalent)
  • Current registration with the relevant health authority (AHPRA or eligible for registration)
