Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Specialist to join our team at the Victorian Heart Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory and sleep disorders.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of respiratory and sleep care for patients at Monash Health. This includes inpatient services at Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) as well as optional outpatient clinics and management at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. Teaching and research activities are conducted at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of commitment to ethical practice and patient safety. You must have at least 2 years' experience in Respiratory Medicine and aim to work alongside a team focused on developing research and translating into medical knowledge and practice. Proven clinical leadership skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment are essential.

Our Department: Our department is one of the largest departments in Melbourne, servicing patients with lung disease. Specialised care is provided to a significant number of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. We treat a range of conditions including asthma, COPD, obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), lung infections, lung nodules and cancer, Cystic Fibrosis and other ongoing lung conditions.
