Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day site security operations to ensure security compliance and processes are in place.
- Oversee the management of facilities-related digital applications, ensuring data security requirements are met.
- Act as the key contact for data security-related topics within the facilities department.
- Conduct security risk assessments and investigations, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate security contracts and monthly management reviews.
- Monitor and report on operational security measures, aiming for continuous improvement.
- Operate, configure, and provide reports on access control and security alarm systems.
- Develop and implement security-related policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with technical contractors for maintenance and installations of security systems.
- Administer video and key management systems, document storage, and destruction.
- Certificate in Security and Risk Management (preferred).
- Certificate in Cyber Security.
- Demonstrated experience in Security and Risk Management.
- Experience in security access control, alarm, and vision systems.
- Ability to foster continuous improvement.
- Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
- Valid Australian driving license (essential for occasional travel).
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
