We are seeking a highly skilled Genetic Counsellor to join our team at Austin Health Clinical Genetics Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert genetic counselling to individuals seeking information about their family history of cancer and other genetic disorders.

The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Genetic Counsellor to join our team and contribute to the delivery of our clinical genetics services. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing genetic counselling to individuals seeking information about their family history of cancer and other genetic disorders;
- Working in conjunction with other genetics team members, including clinical geneticists, oncologists, medical specialists, genetics fellows, genetics counsellors, data managers, and administrative staff;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or a related field;
- Demonstrated good knowledge and understanding of the principles of genetic counselling, including medical, genetic, and psychosocial aspects;
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills;
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously;
- Patient-focused and compassionate attitude;
- Confident, innovative, and resourceful approach to work.
