Leadership and Mechanical Expertise Required

Our organisation is seeking an experienced workshop manager to lead our team in a modern facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical expertise, and the ability to manage and motivate a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the workshop service team, overseeing productivity, safety, and quality standards.
  • Allocate and schedule capital preparation jobs, ensuring timely delivery of new and used equipment.
  • Ensure all major repairs and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage short-term rental fleet readiness, quality control, and availability.
  • Lead the implementation of systems, procedures, and compliance, including scheduling tools.

**Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience leading mechanical teams.
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (Light Vehicle qualified applicants encouraged to apply).
  • Experience in diesel mechanics (forklift or materials handling equipment highly regarded).
  • Strong organisational skills and resilience to manage varied operational demands.
  • Good computer proficiency (scheduling knowledge desirable).
