Financial Crime Analyst Role
The Financial Crime Analytics department is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Group's AML and Sanctions systems through data analytics, modeling, and system optimization. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in analyzing financial crime and customer data, implementing detection strategies to mitigate risk, and preventing financial crimes.
This role involves working with large and complex datasets, utilizing tools like SAS and SQL to extract insights and develop data-driven solutions. You will also be responsible for creating performance reports for senior stakeholders, completing relevant activities throughout the model governance lifecycle, and collaborating with project, technology, and Financial Crime Compliance teams to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in data analytics environments, having worked with large datasets and tools like SAS and SQL. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as experience managing working relationships with business stakeholders. Knowledge of R or Python is an added advantage.
