Aboriginal Business Partnership Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with the Department of Customer Service as an HR expert and contribute to embedding Aboriginal voices, values, and leadership across our organisation.
You will provide inclusive advice, coaching, and mentoring to Aboriginal employees and people leaders, ensuring all approaches are grounded in cultural understanding and aligned with Aboriginal values and practices.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about supporting leaders through problem solving, delivering proactive education programs, and embracing continuous improvement.
About the PositionAs an HR expert working alongside other business partners, you will provide expert advice and guidance on human resources matters to Aboriginal employees and leaders across our department.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering training sessions to empower leaders and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance our service delivery and improve customer outcomes.

A Day in the Life- Providing culturally informed HR advice and coaching to Aboriginal employees and people leaders
- Working closely with specialist teams to support safe outcomes for Aboriginal and other employees
- Developing and delivering informative training sessions to empower leaders
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and enhancing our service delivery
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An understanding of diverse workforce issues including Aboriginal culture and sensitivities
- Demonstrated experience in HR case management or conflict resolution
- Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service driven culture
- A customer centric and people centric mindset with strong decision-making skills
