Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing trade partnerships to drive business growth.

As a key member of our sales team, you will develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with trade customers, including builders, contractors, and construction professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with trade customers.
  • Promoting our large range of timber and hardware products, providing expert advice and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and establishing a strong presence in the market.
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to the growth of our trade division.

Requirements:

  • Experience in trade sales, preferably within the timber and hardware industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse customer base.
  • Sound product knowledge and the ability to provide technical advice and recommendations.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive sales opportunities to completion.
