Project Technical Lead

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead our project delivery team and drive business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in a design consultancy environment, with a strong track record of client engagement and project leadership.

The role requires excellent technical knowledge in mechanical building services, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) design experience on building projects. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery, and possess a proactive solutions-focused mindset with a passion for building client relationships and growing business pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead client-facing project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.
  • Manage internal design teams and oversee engineering assessments across complex, multi-client projects.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, client presentations, and strategic meetings to enhance market presence.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in a design consultancy environment.
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages of delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical Building Services.
  • A collaborative can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
