The Ed-LinQ program is designed to enhance the early detection and collaborative care of school-aged children and young people experiencing mental health problems. It addresses three key focus areas: provision of school-based consultation-liaison, enhancing capacity, and fostering strategic partnerships.

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for implementing the local Ed-LinQ program in collaboration with your fellow coordinators.

About You

">
  • Ability to provide high-level communication in a demanding team environment with high levels of risk sensitivity and case review.
  • Authoritative counsel and clinical expertise in education and training in mental health literacy for intervention to children, adolescents, parents/guardians, their families, and other support systems.
  • Mental health education sessions and ability to acquire knowledge in this area.
  • Collaboration within complex stakeholder and system frameworks within Queensland Health services and external government, non-government, and private health sector service providers.
  • Effective clinical and operational leadership in quality improvement, service evaluation, and research initiatives.
  • Understanding of contemporary human resource practices, including workplace health and safety, employment equity, and anti-discrimination.
