Job Description

A Career in Employment Support

We are seeking a dedicated and solution-focused individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering participants to transform their lives by securing employment opportunities and providing tailored support services.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to demonstrate composure and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and have a can-do approach to delivering quality service.

  • Skill 1: Identifying and Securing Employment Opportunities
  • Skill 2: Supporting Participants to Identify Skills for Job Readiness
  • Skill 3: Delivering Quality Service and Adhering to Contractual Requirements
  • Skill 4: Enhancing Participants' Employability through Training and Support Service Referrals
  • Skill 5: Developing Personalized Job Plans for Clear Employment Pathways
  • Skill 6: Building and Maintaining Positive Relationships with Local Employers and Community Groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers
  • Supporting participants to identify skills to become job ready
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance participants employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
