Lead Marine Structure Team

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the operations of our Marine Structures Department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project completion with an emphasis on contract administration and project management.
  • Resolve overall project execution issues, including Master Service Agreements (MSA) and project resourcing needs.
  • Establish and implement improvements to existing methods, procedures, and toolsets.
  • Recruit new team members and facilitate training and development opportunities.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to marine structure engineers.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with an engineering consultant or other large organization, with a minimum of 5 years ports and maritime related project experience in Canada or overseas.
  • Registration as a professional engineer with EGBC (P.Eng).
  • Supervisory background and proven leadership skills.
