Job Overview

We are seeking a permanent part-time Enrolled Nurse to work in a surgical department.

The successful candidate will deliver excellence in clinical leadership and provide safety and quality to patients and members of the multidisciplinary team.

  • Permanent Part time role - 60 hours/fortnight with flexible working arrangements.
  • Education and Training Opportunities tailored to individual needs.
  • Current AHPRA registration is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, research-based standards of nursing care to individuals or groups under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
  • Medication endorsed Enrolled Nurses may administer medications according to state law and organization policy.
About You
  • A minimum of 3 years acute surgical experience is required.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA is essential.
  • Enrolled Nurse qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications is necessary.
  • Advanced level of clinical skills is highly desirable.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards is expected.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives and timelines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
