We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and project management services to the Women, Family & Community Safety (WFCS) Directorate.

- Provide general admin support and project officer support for the WFCS directorate.
- Undertake/coordinated the delivery of a range of administrative and business services.
- Review outgoing correspondence to ensure quality assurance for accuracy, confidentiality and stylistically consistent in accordance with Departmental standards and guidelines.
- Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors.
- Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Respond to and resolve complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high level of organisation skills and time management.
- The ability to work autonomously, with the capacity to contribute positively to Executive Office team.
- Demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise competing demands, achieve business goals within tight deadlines, and work with a client centred approach.
- Have project management and related administrative skills to support project delivery and policy development including, sound written communication skills, critical thinking skills and a proven ability to identify and manage risks effectively and maintain appropriate record keeping.
- Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Financial acumen including budget tracking and accounts payable.
- Demonstrated capability in the use of TRIM record management system (or similar).
- Demonstrated capability in the use of SAP Finance system (or similar).
