About the Opportunity

This strategic position plays a pivotal role in driving business outcomes through effective workforce planning and supply chain management. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of capability strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify resource and capability gaps across operations and supply chain programs.
  • Partner with talent acquisition, learning and development, and human resources teams to address workforce shortfalls.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the operational excellence team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
  • Support effective prioritisation and decision-making within a constrained workforce environment.

You will be expected to drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing high-quality solutions to complex operational challenges.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in operations or supply chain management supplemented with leadership skills.
  • Membership of professional bodies such as CIPS/ASCM or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of delivering capability development programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Able to provide leadership and direction to teams.

Eligibility:

This role requires a current national security clearance and eligibility for an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
