Join Our Board of Directors

At Gippsland Grammar, we are seeking a dedicated and strategic thinker to join our Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent governance skills, including the ability to think critically, build strong relationships with fellow directors and sub-committee members, and fully participate in the governance process.

Our Board is committed to delivering outstanding education and cultural experiences for our students, and we are looking for someone who shares our vision and values.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in regular Board meetings and important related meetings;
  • Providing guidance and feedback to our School Leadership;
  • Attending training and development opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.

While formal qualifications from a body such as the Australian Institute of Company Directors are desirable, prior experience in governance practice as a Board member or senior executive would be viewed as an advantage.

As a child-safe organization, all applicants will undergo thorough background checks and verification of identity before being considered for appointment.

Applications should include a covering letter outlining your reasons for applying, commitment to child safety, and how you meet the selection criteria. A current resume or curriculum vitae and contact details for three work-related referees should also be provided.
