Role Summary

As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing onsite technical assistance and managing escalations in a fast-paced environment with a positive can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage escalations and provide onsite technical assistance to ensure critical control system infrastructure is running smoothly.
  • Assist and resolve incidents raised by staff and internal support teams efficiently.
  • Support technical issue diagnosis and resolution through expert knowledge and experience.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the internal support teams to enhance their capabilities.
  • Collaborate in delivering key solutions and occasional project tasks.
  • Document support processes and issue resolutions for future reference.

You will have a proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a dynamic environment. With over 5 years' technical experience in an IT environment, you will be proficient in managing and supporting Hyper-V and VMware virtualisation technologies.

Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft environments, proficiency in SCCM, Active Directory management, Group Policy administration, and PowerShell.

Knowledge of backup technologies, networking, Remote Desktop, Terminal Services, and ServiceNow is also desirable. We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to thrive in a collaborative team environment and make a real impact from day one.
