Residential Care Supervisor Position in Western Australia

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Care Supervisor to join our team at the Department of Education, Western Australia. This permanent full-time position is located in Broome, offering a unique opportunity to work with students in a residential setting.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students, supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development, and maintaining regular communication with colleagues, parents, and school staff. Our ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
This role involves providing care and supervision to secondary students, initiating, planning, and safely leading leisure activities, and documenting student progress. The successful candidate will also be required to obtain and maintain various certifications, including First Aid, Aquatic Rescue, and Surf Rescue.

Additionally, you must consent to a National Criminal History Check and obtain a Working with Children Check.
