We're currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician (Mechanical) to join our diverse and inclusive team at our MRF plant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a dynamic team focused on making a positive impact on our environment and local communities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair electrical circuits, conduct safety procedures, and perform examination tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fault find and diagnose issues using electrical schematics and standard practices, with a focus on conveyors.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical circuits to prevent equipment failure.
  • Identify potential problems or efficiency improvements to processes and implement solutions.
  • Servicing and fault diagnosis on forklifts, trucks, conveyors, and other mobile assets.
  • Ensure that plant machinery and equipment run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Overhaul, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical components as required.
  • Record parts usage and request stock as necessary.
  • Maintain adherence to OHS guidelines at all times.
About You
  • Prior experience in maintenance fitting in waste management, recycling, or manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
  • A Grade Electrical license is essential for this role.
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Exposure to maintenance systems such as MEX would be highly valued.
  • Knowledge of MRF equipment or similar industrial plant is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
