This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineering Manager to drive strategic initiatives, support a high-performing team, and contribute to the company's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Manage and review effective standards for statutory inspections, communication, and reporting.
  • Engage with Statutory Regulators and Industry Safety and Health Representatives as required.
  • Cultivate positive relationships within site teams.
  • Ensure detailed planning and scheduling to optimise production.
  • Contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Negotiate NSW Mining Engineering Manager Certificate (or equivalent), or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Possess 10+ years mining experience, including at least 3 years in underground longwall mining (mandatory).
  • Hold 5+ years operational management and supervisory roles (mandatory).
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in mining engineering or related discipline (desirable).
  • Be eligible for valid NSW explosive security clearance (formerly UHL) (desirable).
  • Hold valid Australian drivers licence.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
