Software Development Engineer/Technical Artist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer/Technical Artist to join our team. As a key member of our Gaming team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing software systems, art assets, game engine assets, shaders, and real-time visual effects.
Our ideal candidate will have expertise in Unity development and C# programming, with experience in creating motion graphics or animations. They will also be familiar with versioning software such as Perforce or similar.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and artists to meet look-and-feel and performance requirements. They will identify and solve technical issues related to the art pipeline, provide technical feedback to artists to ensure optimized asset creation, and document and evangelize best practices.
In addition, they will develop tools and scripts to optimize Unity workflow, profile and debug game performance to identify areas for optimization, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 1-3 years of experience in a game development studio
- Familiarity with versioning software such as Perforce or similar
- Experience creating motion graphics or animations
- Experience working under tight deadlines and with game engines
