We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineering Leader to join our team. As a key member of our cloud-native applications, data streams, platforms, and services, you will be responsible for driving the design, build, and optimisation of secure, scalable Microsoft Azure solutions.
Your expertise in cloud engineering will enable you to act as the bridge between our engineering teams and delivery stakeholders, owning architecture, design, and quality to ensure outcomes that meet customer needs and align with industry standards.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in designing cloud-based solutions. Your Agile Delivery skills will allow you to work within an Agile scrum, actively contributing to agile ceremonies and leading when required.
In this role, you will produce engineering outcomes that meet the teams' Ways of Working, including documentation, unit testing coverage, code quality scores, and alignment to technology frameworks and processes.
About the Role- Job Description: Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in designing cloud-based solutions.
- Agile Delivery – Work within an Agile scrum, actively contributing to agile ceremonies and leading when required.
- Produce engineering outcomes that meet the teams' Ways of Working.
- Skills Required:
- Working experience in cloud-native engineering and modern software engineering practices (DevOps, Automated testing etc.).
- Proficient in Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, App Services, Storage Accounts, and Azure Functions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
