Junior Schools Cup Event Staff

The Junior Schools Cup is a prestigious event requiring a team of experienced professionals to ensure its smooth execution. The event will take place on the Gold Coast, where our staff will be responsible for setting up courts and equipment, verifying net height and tension, and distributing match equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all necessary preparations are in place prior to each match.
  • Verify the accuracy of scoreboards and update results as necessary.
  • Monitor match progress and court activity to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Coordinate with teams and officials to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
  • Record match results in the VQ Results Management System and display them prominently throughout the venue.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in venue or event management is highly desirable.
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is mandatory for this role.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a casual position with approximately 8 event staff engaged during the event period.
  • Accommodation will be provided for those residing more than an hour away from the assigned venue.
