The role of a Maintenance Planner is pivotal to the success of plant maintenance activities.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in reliability-focused maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing or process plant environment.
- Tertiary or trade qualified (ideally mechanical or electrical trades);
- Experience in planning, scheduling and implementing maintenance strategies;
- Knowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures; and computerised maintenance planning systems;
- Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP);
A key responsibility will be to plan, schedule and implement maintenance strategies based on historical information and statutory requirements.
This will involve preparing plant maintenance tasks, schedules and work instructions for all assets, tracking plant maintenance schedules and work orders, and identifying trends and opportunities to improve asset reliability.
You will also play a key role in coordinating with production, maintenance fitters, electricians and external contractors to ensure effective resource utilisation during routine and shutdown maintenance.
