IT Security Operations Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative organization. This exciting role will involve performing a variety of security-related tasks, including monitoring and reporting, initial triage and assessment, and initiating remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing security patch and vulnerability management activities, including monitoring and reporting, initial triage and assessment, and initiating remediation activities.
  • Coordinating and driving Security Operations Centre and other Security services provided to the local environment/infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with second-line security operations on IT security compliance program activities and coordinating local execution to meet program requirements.
  • Managing Penetration Test external Vendor engagements as appropriate, during any local engagements, to drive effective vendor execution and delivery to WSA/JV requirements.
  • Supporting any other WL first-line or second-line security program requirements and/or security operations lifecycle initiatives to improve security operations maturity in WSA/JV.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, systems engineering or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners etc).
  • Bachelors' degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certificate in security (e.g. CompTIA Security+,) is a strong plus.
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundations Certification.
  • Knowledge of the payment industry is a plus.
