We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess adult cardiology patients and determine appropriate investigations and treatment plans in consultation with consultants.\
  • Communicate assessment findings and proposed management plans to patients and carers, ensuring timely and effective communication.\
  • Continually monitor and review patient progress, adjusting management plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.\
  • Identify clinical concerns and deterioration, escalating issues to consultants in a timely fashion.\
  • Ensure seamless communication with General Practitioners, other healthcare providers, and carers to ensure ongoing patient care.\
  • Participate in professional development activities, including tutorials, grand rounds, and compulsory courses, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.\
  • Act as a role model and mentor to residents and interns, providing guidance and direction to support their professional growth.\
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring the safest possible environment for patients and staff.\
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including outcome reviews, audits, and organisational systems improvements.\
