Operational Risk Leadership

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational risk management framework within our organization.

  • Design and implement operational risk assurance and oversight of controls to align with strategy, business outcomes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight of control design and implementation, recurring risks and controls review, resilience assurance, and support for regulatory notifications and consultations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of an effective Operational Risk Management Framework, including incident and issue management, controls assessment, independent assurance, and advisory reviews.
  • Represent risk in key forums, management risk committees, project working groups, and steering committees.
  • Prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Challenge and oversee operational risk and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Key qualifications include a minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management roles, expertise in dealing with business management, operational risk, technology risk, project, product, or process management issues, and strong relationship-building skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance considerations. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are also crucial for success in this role.
