Job Description

This position involves leading the technical design, setup and implementation of digital products and solutions for our clients. Key responsibilities include creating architectural diagrams and technical specifications, leading the technical design and development of digital projects, working with clients and project teams to understand requirements, and setting up software development frameworks.

  • Creation of detailed technical designs and specifications for multi-platform products
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions across web, mobile apps and OTT platforms
  • Collaboration with product leads, consultants, designers and developers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions
  • Designing and implementing effective software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality and source control

The chosen individual will play a lead role in influencing our technology proposition and will be responsible for leading and supporting technology consulting projects.

A minimum of 7+ years' experience in software development and solution architecture is required. Experience with cloud computing platforms and services is preferred. Strong technical skills in software development, including hands on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, are essential. Additionally, a keen interest in the application of technology in the sports industry is desirable.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in software development and solution architecture
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (Microsoft Azure preferred)
  • Strong technical skills in software development, including hands on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and directly with clients

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in utilising and implementing core digital technologies, including CMS, CRM, VMS, data warehouse & middleware systems
  • Passion for technology and strong problem-solving skills, with flair for finding innovative solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Experience leading teams of developers and providing technical guidance and mentorship

  • Can demonstrate strong leadership and technical expertise
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs
