Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate and lead water source protection plans, and surplus water operational procedures for a Non-Process Infrastructure team.
This role involves overseeing the development of drinking water catchment management plans, conducting monthly reporting on catchment, source, and surplus surveillance, and providing source water quality and quantity forecasting.
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with previous experience in water or heavy industry environments, particularly in Australia. Experience managing water in accordance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) and WSAA Health-Based Targets Manual is essential.
About the Role
- Develop and implement catchment and source protection plans
- Conduct regular monitoring and reporting of water quality and quantity
- Provide technical guidance and support to the NPI team
- Collaborate with external government regulators and other stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in source water hydrology or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in water or heavy industry environments
- Familiarity with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) and WSAA Health-Based Targets Manual
