The Opportunity- Communicate with clients and engineers to understand geotechnical requirements across diverse projects.
- Plan, manage, and report on site investigations and laboratory testing programs.
- Perform geotechnical design calculations and develop safety management plans for investigation works.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored, high-quality geotechnical solutions.
- Prepare detailed factual, interpretative, and design reports and contribute to digital and sustainable project outcomes.
- A degree in Geology or a related field with consulting experience in design and investigations.
- Working towards or holding Chartered membership with IEAust and familiarity with Melbourne's geotechnical environment.
- Practical knowledge of site investigations, geotechnical design, and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience or interest in areas such as rock mechanics, pavement design, or hydrogeology.
