Disability Training Role

We are seeking a qualified Disability Trainer to join our team on a casual/sessional basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about training and development in the disability sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance needed to achieve their goals. As a Disability Trainer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others and contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive community.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. They will also be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for individuals with disabilities
  • Assess and provide feedback to trainees
  • Collaborate with other trainers and staff members to ensure consistency and quality of training
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in disability training
Requirements:
  • Qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience working in the disability sector
  • Current driver's license and car
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • COVID-19 vaccination
