Production Management Position

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at a leading cosmetic manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient operation of the production facility in Queensland, Australia.
  • Ensure timely execution of production plans and schedules.
  • Accountability for safety, quality, and environmental compliance across the site.
  • Lead, motivate and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Maintain quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as TGA and FDA.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across all departments.
  • Source and commission new equipment and perform ongoing maintenance tasks.
  • Perform basic repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Manage critical spares and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in process plant operations preferably in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment such as TGA or FDA.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and risk management.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance requirements for a manufacturing business.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Previous contractor management experience and proficiency in MS suite.
