Job Role Overview

The Aviation Inventory Coordinator position supports daily operations by ensuring the safe and accurate management of inventory items, including receipt, inspection, and tracking to meet regulatory requirements.

This role involves managing equipment for all aircraft under certified air control or ownership, ensuring equipment is operational, and performing periodic calibration and testing as needed.

Key responsibilities include ordering and replenishing inventory levels, meeting the demands of this critical role as described in relevant regulations and manuals, and adhering to all regulatory requirements related to the Stores department.

Additionally, the coordinator will monitor non-aircraft related inventory levels, such as office supplies, paper products, consumables, etc., and develop long-term supply chain strategies that align with maintenance schedules and operational objectives, ensuring readiness and efficiency across all maintenance programs.

Other essential duties involve forecasting parts demand and planning inventory levels based on aircraft maintenance schedules, fleet utilization, and lead times to minimize downtime due to material shortages. The coordinator will also coordinate with engineering, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure procurement and logistics activities align with upcoming events, modifications, and inspections.

Lastly, this role requires maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness for all supply chain processes, supporting internal quality assurance and external regulatory audits.
