Major Infrastructure Project Coordinator Role
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project coordinator to join our team in delivering the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package (ETP), Australia's biggest public transport project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal and external communications, including newsletters, media releases, and presentations. They will also be involved in organizing events and public access to worksites, as well as planning and supervising photography and videography activities.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including preparing event plans, run sheets, forward programs of events, and event reporting.
- Organize events and public access to worksites, including heritage open days and site visits by stakeholders, media, and community groups.
- Plan, organize, and supervise access and scheduling of photography, videography, and time-lapse photography of sites.
- Ensure visitors receive required inductions and personal protective equipment and follow strict safety protocols when on worksites.
- A Communications specialist with at least three years of professional experience in coordinating the delivery of events in high-profile environments, ideally with a community focus.
- Relevant recognized qualifications with a background working in communications and media, public relations, or event management.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter with first-class organization skills, high attention to detail, ability to achieve tight deadlines under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong demonstrated commitment to teamwork, experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
