**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our customer service team as a Senior Collector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in debt collection.

About the Role:

  • Resolving customer queries and resolving disputes
  • Negotiating payment arrangements and managing outstanding debts
  • Working collaboratively with the hardship team to assess cases and make recommendations
  • Skip tracing and locating missing customers
  • Educating delinquent customers on debt management strategies
  • Providing solutions to prevent future arrears
  • Making recommendations on settlement proposals and hardships

About You:

  • You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • A tertiary qualification in commerce, finance or accounting is desirable but not essential
  • You will need to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A calm and patient nature is essential, as this role can be challenging at times
