We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Paediatric Medicine team in a key role that involves delivering specialist clinical care across Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs for young people and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care and support the development of positive, development-focused team culture.
  • Contribute to service improvement by driving research, clinical audits, and protocol development while supporting change and innovation across adolescent health services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible to hold) a current practicing certificate.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in adolescent healthcare.
  • Proven ability to mentor junior staff and support student learning within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare legislation, quality improvement systems, and current clinical best practices.
