Job Summary:
The successful candidate will lead and develop the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Royal Darwin Hospital to ensure high-quality, efficient, culturally appropriate, and effective inpatient and outpatient services. This role will provide leadership and support to Dietitians employed within the Top End Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the Nutrition and Dietetics Department to achieve high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and support to Dietitians to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Senior Professional Officer 1 experience in a healthcare management role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations.
Remuneration Package: $150,506 - $167,941 (including salary $128,551 - $143,611)
