Job Opportunity

This role presents an exceptional chance to lead and support a dedicated team in delivering outstanding administrative services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive improvements in internal processes and patient experiences
  • Mentor team members with a professional, caring, and supportive approach
  • Streamline workflows and develop new procedures
  • Develop checklists, templates, and forms
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding
  • Design and deliver induction training programs
  • Plan and coordinate changes to rosters
  • Oversee team activities and resolve issues
  • Coach and develop team members' skills and abilities
  • Act as liaison for healthcare professionals
  • Update systems and maintain administrative IT
  • Provide reporting and recommendations

To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare or medical administration
  • Experience streamlining workflows and developing procedures
  • A sound understanding of medical protocols and terminology
  • Excellent knowledge of patient experience principles and practices
  • Knowledge of Medicare and private billing processes
  • A sound understanding of the Privacy Act and employment legislation
  • Experience booking patients and rostering
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and flow-charting
  • Experience using medical software (Clinic to Cloud is preferred)

Required Qualifications
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or Health Administration, or Management
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the Workplace Trainer Skill Set (advantage)
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • First Aid Officer and Emergency Warden certification
  • Possession of permanent work rights in Australia
