Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to contribute to the Naval fleet's sustainment through life and support their maintenance.

The role is part of a dynamic environment, located in Defence at Henderson WA, and offers career progression opportunities within maintenance management and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with approved systems and accurate recording of maintenance tasks.
  • Review key activity and status reports, investigating and reporting maintenance errors and areas for improvement.
  • Verify that maintenance personnel are authorised based on qualifications, experience and employment standards.
  • Liaise with Lifecycle Engineering Officer to coordinate inputs into MV Seaworthiness assurance program.
  • Assist in establishing process rules between CLCM and RMP for MV Asset Management program.
Requirements:
  • Act as an advisor to a team, focusing on strategy implementation and policy development.
  • Become actively involved in daily operations to resolve complex problems and improve processes.
  • Experience in maintenance administration and management, including planning and execution.
  • Contribute to operational plans impacting achievement of results and business outcomes.
  • Previous experience working in roles with short-term operational plans and tight deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum six years' experience in technical fields (engineering or maintenance), preferably with a focus on asset management.
