Data Centre Contracts Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Marble in Melbourne, VIC. This role offers a competitive salary of AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum.
As a Contract Administrator – Data Centres, Labs, Healthcare, you'll oversee the end phases of projects, manage and administer construction contracts, collaborate with project teams and subcontractors, monitor and control project costs, budgets, and variations, maintain accurate project documentation and records, assist in the procurement and negotiation of subcontractor agreements, liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a national growing business specialising in services-heavy, niche projects in Pharma, Data Centres, Laboratories. You'll have genuine scope for progression and be one of the first CA hires for Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer construction contracts for assigned projects.
- Oversee the end phases of projects, including handover, commissioning, and project close-out.
- Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure contract compliance.
- Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and variations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Assist in the procurement and negotiation of subcontractor agreements.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in contract administration within the commercial construction industry.
- A background in health / laboratory projects is highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of project close-out processes.
- Experience in overseeing services packages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
