Principal Highways Engineer

As a key member of our global team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure. With a passion for delivering world-class solutions, you will lead the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring the integrity of designs and quality of deliverables.
  • Develop and implement effective design solutions, considering constructability, interfaces, and commercial risk assessments.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, promoting their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Registered or accredited professional with extensive experience in successful project delivery.
  • Strong client focus, with a passion for continuous improvement and quality.
  • Proven technical and commercial acumen, with experience in managing and delivering design solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and delegate effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of local design standards, including Austroads Guide to Road Design and specifications.
