Mechanical Supervisor Role

Lead a team of skilled fitters to achieve exceptional results in product rebuilds, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.

This key leadership position involves estimating, quoting, planning, and executing workshop jobs and shutdown schedules to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the fitter team to strip, inspect, repair, and report on customer equipment, along with day-to-day tasks.
  • Train and mentor the team to adhere to procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop quotations for all customer activities and accurately process and invoice service orders.
  • Complete site work within time and quality expectations.
  • Plan service work, monitoring labour resources, materials, job allocation, and contractor management.
  • Foster a zero-harm workplace culture, aligning with our commitment to safety excellence.

Skill Requirements:

  • Trade certificate in mechanical fitting.
  • Proven experience leading teams, coaching, and providing technical support.
  • Ability to plan and organize workloads efficiently.
  • High-risk forklift ticket and dogging/rigging qualifications are highly desirable.
  • A strong focus on attention to detail and safety.
  • Current manual driver's license is required.
