Job Overview

The Information Services Branch is comprised of four key business units, each working collaboratively to deliver exceptional service. The Policy and Planning Officer plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring the organization remains agile and responsive to changing needs.

  • Drive policy development and review processes, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on audit and risk management practices, fostering a culture of compliance and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training programs, enhancing staff capabilities and performance.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of policy development, risk management, and training principles. A current Australian work eligibility status is essential, with the incumbent also subject to a criminal history check.

Flexible working arrangements and occasional interstate travel may be required. Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is mandatory.
