Job Title: Senior Contract Administrator

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced contract manager to play a crucial part in the development and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting key business priorities.

Main Tasks:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage supplier contracts, aligning with business objectives.
  • Utilise best practice knowledge to optimise day-to-day supplier management processes.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, delivering value for money.
  • Interface with multiple departments to gather requirements and feedback for contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Engage with suppliers as needed to resolve issues and enhance relationships.
  • Support the business in achieving key priorities through effective contract management practices.
  • Ensure all contract activities adhere to compliance and probity requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree qualifications or equivalent, with infrastructure, construction, and MRO sector experience or relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years' experience working in contract management in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with multiple stakeholders and in particular external suppliers.
  • Strong communication skill with ability to convey complex commercial matters through reports and presentations and strong understanding of construction law.
  • Relevant work experience for Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors in addition to client side.
  • Industrywide Knowledge around key principles and structure of the New Engineering Contract - Revision 4 (NEC4) for efficient management of contractual obligations.
