Job Description

Australian Defence Apparel Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Manager to join our Sales Protective Apparel department in Sydney. The successful candidate will manage contracts and support our sales operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including negotiation, drafting, and execution related to protective apparel sales.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor contract performance for compliance and deadlines.
  • Advise the sales team on contract terms, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve contractual issues.
  • Review existing contracts for improvements or renegotiation opportunities.

Main Tasks:

  • Oversee all contract phases from proposal to closeout.
  • Work with sales to understand customer needs and customize contracts.
  • Analyze market trends to inform negotiations and pricing.
  • Report on contract status, performance, and risks to senior management.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current Driver's License and willingness to travel to Goulburn.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check and Police Force Baseline Vetting.
  • Proven contract management experience in sales or protective apparel industries.
  • Negotiation skills and experience managing contracts with suppliers and clients.
  • Understanding of legal contract terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams for contract compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills for evaluating contract performance.
  • Experience developing contract management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, or contract management platforms.
  • Degree in business, law, or related fields preferred.
